In order to form a viable union

The old wish was to form a “more perfect union.” Let’s be realistic and be satisfied today with an imperfect but viable union.

Under the more perfect union that was created by the Constitution, the states were castrated. They lost their sovereignty. They became subordinated to the federal government as the thirteen colonies were subordinated to the British King. As long as this subordination was accepted freely, it could be tolerated. But when this subordination became intolerable to the southern states, they decided to secede. The Civil War showed them who was the boss and forced them to remain in the union without their consent. Today the revolutionary statement of January 6 says that many among the people no longer accept that subordination and want to put an end to it. This was not said as clearly as I have put it. The January 6 action was confused and confusing. Its message should have been a clear rejection of the centralized Constitution, and a call for restoring the rights of the states.

The needed correction was made later, when the Supreme Court decided to recognize the autonomy of the states in relation to abortion. This was a first step in the new direction, which favors giving back to the states their lost sovereignty. The door is now open for a liberation movement in favor of the states and at the expense of the federal government.

In this note, I have clarified what the majority of the American People are still confused about. It does not take a prophet to read the signs of the time and recognize the direction in which the winds are blowing.
