What we need is a revival of democracy

In order to do so we must start at the bottom of the power pyramid, that is to say at the level of our cities.

At that level the initiative can be taken by ordinary people working with their elected officials. We can begin by declaring the Second Amendment obsolete. This is essential for freeing the police from the fear of being shut by trigger-happy fanatics.
